Our very 1st Home Match
So next Sunday we play our very 1st Home Match, after playing The Sharks in Southampton, drawing 36-36 and training with the Invictus Squad.
It's now time to turn Poole into our Fortress

Cheers - Me thinks we're going to need it, but we've been training for ages for this one game :) :)

No problem then, it'll be the game after that you're unprepared for!Hammersmith1982 wrote:Cheers - Me thinks we're going to need it, but we've been training for ages for this one game :) :)

Re: Our very 1st Home Match
That should be a better match as there are no Team GB players so in theory it should be easier. But those matches can be banana skins!!!! And we've got to stay in control :)
Luckily we've got 4 weeks to train a different way to play them, but it will be a great experience for us

Re: Our very 1st Home Match
We lost to a vastly superior team, including 3 Team GB legends and a force to contend with. I have a feeling that they are going to win Division 1 as well this season!!
But it was a great match and a fantastic day. We had The Mayor of Poole attend, plus we had cheerleaders and it was a very successful day all included.
They won 36-61, but we smiled at the end as we knew we'd fought well, but they fought better
