You simply can't beat Thunderbirds. Such happy memories of being at my nan's on.a Sunday when Thunderbirds came on at 1.10 followed by Star Soccer - the Midlands regional footie show led by the admirably incompetent Hugh Jones - an hour later. Thunderbirds was a classic act and has stood the test of time like so few 60s shows have. Love it, love it, love it.

Oh and Comparing Thunderbirds to Stingray is like comparing The Raven to Written in Red.
They'll be called the survivors..you know why?....cos they're gonna survive

Interesting feedback. Ostensibly I posted this to get a rough idea of forum members and their relative ages, Some of us including myself are approaching our sixties therefore Stingray (Space Patrol, Super Car and Fireball XL5) was on our agenda of top TV programmes before Thunderbirds was in existence!

PS. The original Thunderbirds was fuckin ACE!

Thunderbirds for me. Stingray was good, but didn't quite have IT in the way the Tracy's did.

I am even (whisper it) a fan of the new Thunderbirds. I think it's clearly been made by people who grew up with the original series, and pays great homage to it whilst modernising nicely.............
