The toilet at Cassis train station.
An utter disgrace.
An utter disgrace.

You are missing out. The Middle East is an amazing place - full of history, great sights, and very friendly people. ( and terrific food). I have been to Yemen, Saudi, UAE (where I lived for three years) , Bahrain, Qatar, Israel, Palestine, Kuwait and Oman. I have also been to Afghanistan and Pakistan. Never had any trouble, and I felt much safer than I do in London on a typical evening. Incidentally, I am Jewish, and all the Arabs I mentioned to this were extremely friendly and welcoming to me - they can of course, distinguish between Jews and the policies of the Israeli Govt. dont make assumptions about a great part of the world because of the views of a minority of mad extremists, most of whom come from Europe, not the Middle East ....jason wrote:The Middle East.

Never fancied going to South Africa. Been thinking of going to watch the British Lions, but it would be NZ or Oz for me.

I am interested in your use of the words, "...a minority of mad extremists, most of whom come from Europe..."cassini wrote:You are missing out.
