I got an e mail yesterday saying that we have now got funding to buy 3 wheelchair rugby chairs, and with the extra bit they gave us we have got spare money to buy a 4th as well.

Happy Fucking CHRISTMASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

And we have 2 of our own as well, and 2 borrowed so that means we can play a proper game of 4 vs 4.

Can't rest on my laurels, still need another £30,000 for all the other chairs, but slowly, slowly catchy monkey

We didn't get a thing from that But hey, it was worth a try. We've still got loads more irons in the fire though, but it takes so long, as you've got 2 month opening date for application, 2 months to find out if you are successful and then you get the money and wait 6/8 weeks for the chairs to be built and delivered, as they are welded to keep the player safe.

I use the term safe very loosely when you have loons like Batt playing
