I see the light! Bleeding hell it's blowing a gale out there, wouldn't be surprised if it all gets knocked out again soon...Bag Lady wrote:I tried posting something similar 4 hours ago but the internet connection was crap as well.Ravenette wrote:On the sofa, in the dark, whilst I wait for the power cut to be over.

Just about to brave the elements to drive up to the hospital to collect the Monster-In-Law.
She's been in hospital for just over a week with the broken shoulder (only a hairline fracture) and in that time she hasn't even got as far as being treated on the orthopaedic ward she was SUPPOSED to be in.
Great doctors and nurses but useless pen-pushing office manager pricks. Bollocks to the 'suits'.
Anyway, they say she can come home today and attend orthopaedic sessions as an 'out-patient' and we're getting a Social Care Worker to visit daily and help her dress and wash.
So why she had to sit there in hospital at all is a mystery.
Oh well. Happy days.

Left The Tipsy Laird pub in Kingussie a short while ago.
Had a nice pint of "Winter Warmer" (me ? beer ? ) as I surveyed the excellent juke box.
Found The MiB. Eighteen songs.
Put in my £1 and played Midnight Summer Dream and Nice 'n Sleazy.
I felt so proud but did look a bit of a nob as I did a leg movement at the bar. Who cares.
