one of the funniest things I've heard was when I listened to a couple of stranglers bootz from their far east tour of 1979. hugh's Japanese intro to straighten out cracks me up every time.

Identify the source of these quotes:
If I had all the money I'd spent on drink, I'd spend it all on drink!
I don't know what I want, but I want it now!
That was inedible filth, and there wasn't enough of it!

Defo one is Withnail and I - I think maybe all are , but definitely the middle one .I think ( haven't watched it for a while but its one of my favourite films).
They are from Sir Henry at Rawlinson's End. Which could do with a thread of its own.

Basil "i don't know give it its freedom"
Cybil "Give it it's freedom, it's domesticated, it won't survive"
Basil "Well it's hardly going to get mugged by a gang of field mice is it?".
