Re: Formula 1
I was quite happy Red Bull, in particular Vettel, had problems of varying degrees. It was nice seeing Magnussen finish well, but waiting for Kimi's season to start picking up...

I dont see all the fuss about the noise, i quite like the new rules hopefully it will make it all an even battle and no one will run away with it like vettle has the last 4 years. i have high hopes for Magnussium he looks like a good driver and botass and kobiashi.

Yes, they don't like it when they're on the receiving end of a ruling, but it's ok when they're trying to stiff other teams up

I'm hoping for a more open battle this season too, it was starting to get boring!pigeon wrote:I dont see all the fuss about the noise, i quite like the new rules hopefully it will make it all an even battle and no one will run away with it like vettle has the last 4 years. i have high hopes for Magnussium he looks like a good driver and botass and kobiashi.

Re: Formula 1
Is it my imagination or do these cars look slower ? Less noise obviously - to me the sound isn't the same , no screamimg engines . They do look slower to me though .
All quiet ..........
Re: Formula 1
No I don't think it is your imagination, I thought the same. The start looked ridiculously slow to me this Sunday. Apparently they are faster in the straights, but slower in the corners, which is where you are more likely to notice the speed.Jon the Impaler wrote:Is it my imagination or do these cars look slower ? To offend, or be offended is purely subjective.

They do look slower, and the sound is awful, like a load of mopeds revving in a tunnelJon the Impaler wrote:Is it my imagination or do these cars look slower ? Less noise obviously - to me the sound isn't the same , no screamimg engines . They do look slower to me though .

Re: Formula 1
The drivers are sometimes struggling to handle the extra torque though with these new cars. Which is good. And I'm looking forward to the turbos exploding like they did the last time F1 had turbo'd cars :)
