I like how Facebook is above friends

I sometimes (in fact always) despair at the utter mindlesness of such lists and wonder quite who the people asked are, and where they can be found...........in order that I might avoid them in the future.

I Phone? its not "cool" is it? Clever perhaps, overpriced certainly, but cool?

Cadbury's chocolate? chocolate for the masses, not cool and not for the connoisseur.

Plasma tv's? Surely not watching tv is cooler than having a 5 foot wide monster screen dominating your average lving room?

VW campervan? Hahaha hahaha haha...........I'm sorry, I couldn't contain myself. Wheezing museum peices. Mildly interesting, but the hard shoulder of the M5 is never a cool place to be.

Dyson Vacuum cleaner? An overpriced and oddly coloured domestic appliance that suffers frequent blockages cool? I think not.

Harry Potter? Childrens fiction that whilst worthy of praise for encouaging kids to read, should not I think be enthused by grown adults.

Cheryl Cole? Ant and dec? The plasticine faced peadofile? Oh God this makes me feel suicidal.
I tried to make him laugh, He didn't get the joke, and then he said I wasn't right in the head.

The only one I'd argue with their is the Dyson as it did change the whole design of vacuum cleaners and also gave rise to design change whilst retaining good functionality and improving functionality. The ipod on the other hand is a resonably design but it doesn't really bring anything else to the table and Apple jumped on the MP3 player bandwagon quite late.
