I think the respondents in that survey lied - some of those figures sound a bit low to me!

I suspect (know) I've been lied to at least 3 times today alone.... "I didn't eat the yogurt", "I didn't pull bits of wood off the door" and "I didn't cut Barbie's hair" and that's just one of the kids. The lies might get fewer in the future but I'm sure they'll get better at them

The article doesn't mention how many people think they get away with their lies.

You can't really judge how many people believe them.........

Reminded me of a liberal (U.S.) newsmag piece from some psychobabble counselor who argued that lying can be healthy for you.
