Or at least release Waltzinblack/Peaches as a tribute with all proceeds going to his favourite charity or the like.coinciding with his book release on Oct 3rd??

Perhaps when waltzinblack kicks in on the 18th, there could be a rousing chant of "Keith floyd, Keith floyd"

Any quotes/tributes from Hugh or the band anywhere yet? Or has our so-called 'informed' media neglected to ask some of his earliest 'showbiz' mates?

There is a message of respect on the Rat's Lair.

Very Sad news. His show was the only cookery show i watched because he played The Stranglers at the end.

So, if they'd stuck some regular Metallica on the Big Brother soundtrack (mibee at those bits where they turn off
the audio feed due to swearing, or racism) they'd have got at least one more viewer, I reckon.

A very simple & heartfelt message, quite touching :( Clearly KF held a special place in Jet's affections...

Both clearly adore food - it's only natural I guess. Shame, when shit like this happens I remind myself of how (subtley) enriched I have become from such characters, and how the planet becomes more different as a result.

I think Jonimac, had it right... it's not the world changing but our own perception of it as we grow older and experience new shit.

For example: (not my own): If GB were to face another attack from the continent, the youth would rally round, willfully become enscripted and fight the bosch (note: not the lack of use of other so-called vacuum cleaners!!) and do the same job!

I believe that too.

As life ploughs on there will indeed be "characters" such as Keith Floyd..... but we must see that they occupy new quarters.
If Dave was to use a Hammond L100 for just one more gig I'd die content.
