Re: Motorcycling.
We are going to the Big May Day motorcycle meet up at Hastings tomorrow. Thousands of bikers gather there, hope the weather is kind to us.

Seriously nice looking new Triumph Bonneville range -

Always wanted a Bonneville cos JJ rode them but unfortunately they are a bit out of my price range so buying the lovely looking Triumph Trident 660, can’t wait to get back out on the road and biking again -

Re: Motorcycling.
I used to have a couple of Italjet Dragsters...quite rare in these parts.
Re: Motorcycling.
Yamaha R1mk 1 1998,a rather fast bike, but it's fucking great. Lt Kudu.
Re: Motorcycling.
I passed my test in 1995, but gave up riding in 2000 as was written off by an uninsured driver, but had demo rides on R1s in intervening years, when I hit 50 in 2017 I got another bike a 250 big mistake as to slow, long story, as I said now have Yamaha R1mk 1 with the short gear ratio, power delivery is brutal but i have tamed the beast. Lt Kudu off ops drinking Italian Wine.

Soz couldn’t resist
I like all kinds of two wheeled bikes and the Mod in me is a fan of Scooters too.
Right now this evening i couldn’t think of anything better than to be dressed/ modded up with no helmet on and riding around on a Lambretta in a beautiful hill top village in France, Spain or Italy. Shame the cafes & bars might be shut like.

Re: Motorcycling.
That’s cool, is that your mate helping Mike to get going? Was he a mechanic/ part of the team?
Is the photo late 70’s/ early ‘80 as I believe Mike Hailwood died in ‘81?
