Re: Last book read
I read David Ceserani's book on the Holocaust last year. It's of course impossible to overstate how appalling it was. I can get my head around a pogrom but rounding people up transporting them hundreds of miles and gassing them day in day out for years..I'll never ever 'get' that.
Currently reading Laurence Tolhurst's Cure book.

Finished it a week or two back, a good quick read, with some complimentary
Stranglers references, I think one was posted on here a while back, but I enjoyed
the story of Lol jumping on stage to join in the JJ shuffle

Re: Last book read
Got myself a cracking pair of highly-regarded history books on special offer last week (even at my age I still love a birthday book token) and I am now eagerly awaiting diving into the worlds of crazy Tsars on one hand and the Nuremberg trials on the other. I am usually more of a fiction reader but I am enjoying delving into history again at mo and both these subjects appeal. Anyone read either ?

I'll get round to IQ84 but I'm a bit Murakami'd out after reading Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage a few weeks ago and then Underground.
