Aren't they though?!! Mine didn't take too long to "de-squeak" (I always feel a bit self-conscious if you're in a quiet place and you creak).Claireinblack wrote:10 -hole Docs are the bizz....
I got some New Auth Wedge calf-length boots from the Doc's site the other week and they are sooo comfortable.
Boogie now, Dave!

Lovely! I haven't cleaned mine since SBE2 when those strange stains appeared. Souvenirs, if you like!

Yeah me too mate - can't really bring myself to buy anything else.
Remember FAS (Famous Army Stores)? Used to buy me docs there.

Re: Patent Docs
Never heard of them to be honest - it was always a local shop (for local people) on the Lisburn Road called Moores - everyone at school bought their Docs there (it was only across the road from the main gates). Sadly closed down recently as it was only a family run shop.theraven1979 wrote:Yeah me too mate - can't really bring myself to buy anything else.

Last pair I bought (well they were a Chrimbo pressie last year) were from The Doc Shop in Belfast City Centre.
Always need to try my boots on before shelling out the hard earned - would never consider buying on-line or mail-order.

Re: Patent Docs
First time I've bought boots/shoes on-line but I can trust Docs sizes. They fit fine. I could've tried them in a shop first to make sure they were OK and then just buy the same pair on-line cheaper in the sale, but I've not seen them anywhere. Any other make, then I wouldn't risk it.MULLY wrote: Always need to try my boots on before shelling out the hard earned - would never consider buying on-line or mail-order.
