20 quid new? Bargain. I've just splashed out 50 on a pair of calf length zip up docs in the sale(to complement my more traditional 10 eyelet pair..). Last big buy for a while.

Seen a pair today for under twenty quid brand new, but just wonder how they wear, and do they soften or not ??
Thanks
As you may remember Claire, my daughter was wearing her beloved bright pink patent ones at Reading. They are softer than normal ones to start off with but they are really prone to scuffing if your not careful with them. She forked out about 60 quid for 'em I think, from somewhere in Camden.
I tried to make him laugh, He didn't get the joke, and then he said I wasn't right in the head.

I do remember RavenLuny, and they looked stunning.

Thanks for the advice
Hi claire i used to make shoes (balroom dancing ones) and a lot of them where from patent leather i would say they do take longer to soften but a hairdryer does a good job of it and it also takes the creases out of the leather
