Since you went away popped out of my Ipod speakers yesterday morning. God that should have been a single!

I knew on New Year's Eve that I'd be in the car early next morning, so I prepared my first song of the year in advance.
The first present I gave myself for 2009 was Down In The Sewer. 8)
Several happy minutes later, the second present I gave myself was...
Sewer again - couldn't resist .

I was in a mellow mood on New Year's Day so what better than a slice of Feline through the headphones????

So it was Midnight Summer Dream for me. (I listened to the extended CD and revelled in that fabulous bass solo on the MSD/euro Fem live track as well the much under-rated Permission).

Cracking album Feline.

I had "Mayday" on my hi-fi this morning by an ex strangler, so no still no Stranglers. Bloody excellent live album it is though. Its 100% better than "Hooverdam" & "PPP".

Wired and Irate Catapillar are great on that album. I wonder why Hugh does not sing on Irate Catapillar?

'No More Heroes' from 'All Live & All Of The Night' came on me ipod tonight (always have it on shuffle), so that will be the first Stranglers track I've heard this year unless you count 'Sold On Dreams' by Paul Roberts which I think technically is still a Stranglers song innit :?:

I do not know, but he doesn't on "PPP" either windsor does. Love his little cracks onstage to. "Computers what a load of old tosh a, were suppose to be so much more in communication with technologly, so you have an office with two people sitting opposite each other, there sending each other emails... is that communication? no thats why i prefer typewritters"

Yup they put out 'Lies & Deception' instead. Another great career move.
