A sad Farwell Stradey Park
Having just watched Scrum 5, its a sad farwell to Stradey Park. I remember going to Stradey back in 1972 with my Grandfather seeing some great rugby moments. Meeting the likes of Phil Bennett and even Max Boyce. I suppose its the same feeling as when they closed the doors on the old Cardiff Arms Park. Nos da Stradey

I endured 11 years of forced marriage to someone from that neck of the woods.
Don't care what they do with it!

Only had the pleasure of going to this famous ground once; years (and years) ago when I played for Rhymney Valley schools v Carmarthenshire schools. After our game, we went to Stradey to watch Llanelli v Cardiff (i think).
There was a nice farewell on Sunday's Scrum V.
The death of Grav not so long back was a tragedy, but if any 'good' came out of it, it was that he could have his funeral procession held at the ground and place he loved so much.
Farewell Stradey Park
RIP Ray Gravell

Rugby Union is not only the greatest team sport in the world on the field, but without a shadow of a doubt, is the greatest team sport in the world off the field. Nigel Owens.
