Noticed that Anna Friel film was on this week and remember there were a few Strangs songs in it, along with posters on their walls etc. Was that it :?:

Watched The Omega Man, An American Haunting and Starship Troopers 3 (which was cleverer than 2). Got Inside Man to watch next and got to finish Blade Runner. A friend's lending me Lost 4 box-set so plenty to go at there!

That was the fellow, I didn't see it all but Anna Friel was in it. I was sipping my coco before bed and suddenly said to my wife 'why is that young gentleman wandering around this film clutching a copy of Rattus?', didn't hear any songs though. Metroland was on last week too, from what I remember it features 'peaches', the song not the body part.

Finally got to see Ghost Town, The Dark Knight and that Bond one over the weekend.

And just logging off right now to watch a cinematic classic I've been looking forward
to seeing again for ages:

The Man Who Would Be King 8) 8)

Dark Knight I enjoyed, getting closer to the eldritch Batman of Frank Miller, Alan Moore etc I knew and loved as a kid (well, when I say Kid  ). Dark and not the let down most of the other Bat-flicks have been. Ghost Town I liked, a few good laughs but then I still find Gervais a most humorous guy, well worth a watch. These days I'd much rather watch a good comedy rather than pretty much anything else and this fitted the bill for me. I've got Pineapple Express to watch too, which I was recommended as another funny flick, but I happily know fuck all about it as yet.
The Bond one? I know it was rated very highly here, but it was a bit Quantum Of Bollox for me I'm afraid. I like Mark E Smith as the new Bond, but something was missing for me.

A Captain Pugwash release of Gran Torino. Very enjoyable.
