Very rarely get to the flicks these days.

Can't remember the last time I was there!

More a DVD out of Blockbusters and a bottle or 2 of wine.
Mrs Toiler going to see Mama Mia! with Granny toiler tonight, so I'll have the box to myself.

In Bruges (on DVD) - saw it at the cinema when it came out and thought it was good, watched it again and think it's a classic.

Rervoir Dogs meets Father Ted with a psycho dwarf on an acid trip during an orgy and the bird who plays Fleur Delacourt in the Harry Potter movies as the drug dealing "love interest"!

What more could anyone want, apart from a glass of Brugge Tripple, a portion of frittes and mayo, chocolate genitals, LadP unconscious across a pub table, 50MillionBottlesOfWine dancing with the locals and threatening to go ice skating at 2 in the morning to make you feel more like you're there?
If Karen Carpenter had eaten Mama Cass' sandwich they'd both still be alive today!

In the past few weeks:

Son of Rambow, (watched it with the kids) great fun.

Ironman, great entertainment and one I'll definitely be buying on DVD

Mr Woodcock, one of the funniest films I've seen in a long time.

Hellboy 2 which was well worth the ticket and my son (he's 9) loved it too. We were going to see Dark Knight but my brother said my son might find it a tad scary, so it was Hellboy 2.
Normally I wouldn't have minded.

I couldn't think of anywhere else to mention this. Did someone see a film on BBC 1 on Monday or Tuesday night late? Anyway there were several scenes with some kid wandering around clutching a copy of Rattus (LP). I think the film was supposed to be set in the 70s.

Watched Perfume again on DVD on tuesday with the "children" over cous cous, cake with candles and a bottle or 3.
