It's a different film. In the one I saw, the lead actor is on his knees begging some gangster for mercy and licking his shoes and then cuts his own tongue off with a scissors.
Old Boy was on last Friday, could it have been this?
Great film, with a fucked up twist in the tail.
Knife or sissors?
Ichi is a Knife Dae-su in Oldboy is scissors.

Was it Another Lonely Hitman? I reviewed this (http://www.videovista.net/reviews/july05/anlonehit.html) and I remember a scene where he's prepared to cut off his own finger, but I can't recall the tongue bit.yongkuk wrote:Alias wrote:Niki Wu wrote:

Aye, Cloverfield was good. Did you notice something falling into the sea at the end when they were at Coney Island, on the video tape?

Not a film as such, but i've watched the Ripping Yarms DVD all 9 episodes.
Some dated but some timeless.
Also the commentary by Palin and Jones is very insightful.
Film wise 'No country for old men' has the best baddie in that i've seen for ages. Strange ending that apparantly has a hidden meaning....
