Sounds good overall. Not much post 1990 material though.

I'd probably take out Nubiles, Sleazy and Straighten out and swap them for Freedom, North Winds and Raven in a perfect world but it's a great set by the sounds of it. Let's hope the performances get better too from what Jim said.

Was alright last night. Typical first night I guess. Not sure about back lights, 2 drummers and setlist but we will see

Great gig last night, thought a couple of songs were dodgy and was disappointed that 'Sewer' wasn't in for a second straight tour. I noticed that Baz sung 'Norfolk Coast', didn't JJ replace Paul's vocals on previous tours for this song? Good to hear WWTW, Thrown Away & Straighten Out again. Interesting that every MK1 album got a track played except '10' (surprise, surprise!!) and only 4 post Hugh songs!! :|
Hugh - "We had gangs of skinheads coming along trying to cause problems and stuff"
Rick Wakeman - "How did you deal with it?"
Hugh - "Our bass player used to jump off the stage and beat the shit out of them!"

Should be inserted into ALL review threads just to be safe, as no doubt someone will go onto one that doesn't and see they opened with 'Longships' and start a Hullabaloo about the thread title not having a 'spoiler alert' about it.

To play devils advocate, what about threads titled
"First track of set was Maninwhite - SETLIST SPOILER"
"Second track of set was Love 40 - SETLIST SPOILER"
etc etc....................

just saying :smt077

Thought they were excellent last night..not perfect but good all the same...my third stranglers gig and this time the sound mix was better than the previous two. I was quite happy with the set list and anyone pondering whether to buy the live cd ...do so ...it's brilliant. 8)
