Summer Sonic Festival, Osaka, Japan (12th Aug)

Post by Marmite »

Evenin'.

I went to the Summer Sonic festival in Osaka last Sunday and had a blast!
Absolutely brilliant gig, loved every minute of it.
I'd waited nearly twenty years to see them and I wasn't disappointed. Thank god it was at the indoor arena, cos it was 32 degrees outside!
This was the set-list:

5 Minutes
Spectre of Love
Straighten Out
Nice 'N' Sleazy
Unbroken
Peaches
Always the Sun
Golden Brown
Summat Outanowt
Relentless
Duchess
London Lady
No More Heroes

Those are definitely the tracks, pretty sure that's the order too.
They only had 45 minutes and so belted them out without much chat.
So..is this set much different from the stuff they play in the UK?
I'd be interested to know.

Thanx for that Marmite!
Pretty much the average UK set, albeit somewhat condensed. 8)

Well done mate, sounds like you had a brilliant time! Still a pretty good set, eh?
