1977. What a great year. But then the year before that was pretty good and the year after probably even better!
Maybe I'll find love when there's nothing to do........

I was too wasted at the time to know or care what year it was, :smt095 but recall I had Rattus and No More Heroes on perpetual repeat from when they first came out ... so yeah, I guess that means 1977.

I first saw them live in 1979 (or possibly early 1980?) in Bristol.

I'm a 21 year old discography man, and this year it was The Stranglers turn.

June 2010 - Went to a carboot sale looking for vinyl to sell, saw the Rattus cover and a load of 7inches and wondered '.........who the hell are these guys?!?!' went home, did my research, bought the first 10 albums, and the rest is history.

Refreshing to see a few "new" fans.

2010. Midnight Summer Dream was the coup-de-foudre. No More Heroes the first album. I will always have a soft spot for that one and Feline. And a few fond memories of that time in my life.

Late 77, having already heard Rattus+ Heroes.
But @ the Fernleigh Centre, Chichester disco which was held in and arched cellar I`ll always remember 80, 10-16 y.o`s going mental, pogoing like crazy, to the entire NMH`s album, (which got played twice,in its entirety). None of us had heard anything like it before.
Hooked every since.
