It's great that Baz admits this, although I still feel he's being somewhat charitable towards the record.

Equally great that Baz is so upfront about this and it tells me all I need to know (as if I hadn't guessed already) about their intentions regarding the band, particularly coupled with the fact that they've spent most of the last 10 years touring and keeping on truckin' even when key members of the band have fallen by the wayside.

I think its a really clever play on words to be honest.

Correct. However, there's something else that the current line-up isn't either.

Let me expand.. no single poster has posted such a constant negative campaign against the current Stranglers over so short a time as compared to any poster on the Hugh section.
Unless you can show it me otherwise (without simply asking me to use the search function)?

I'd argue that it's completely relevant, as you would be unfamiliar with the wealth of conversation that's happened prior to your joining the forum. In any case, overall the amount of criticism directed at Hugh and criticism directed at the post-Hugh incarnations probably evens itself out. You should perhaps - for example - re-familiarise yourself (if indeed you are unfamiliar) with the amount of shit Paul Roberts took while he was still in the band.

I do look forward to hearing your thoughts on this Baz interview, though
