Stranglers are on at 0850. Let’s hope Baz loses the Rubettes cap

Being interviewed by Dan Walker, which I have just realised is an anagram of “wanker lad”.

And the possibility of the “Dave once pinned Johnny Rotten up against a wall” story being told? I reckon it’s a safe bet.

I wonder if the Clash 'stand off' will get another outing.Or maybe the Eifell tower routine.

But what other anecdotes would you prefer they do?

"Baz had us doing this silly disco dance to Thrown Away...."

(Pointing to Baz) "This one, he sings knob in Always The Sun - outrageous!"

Maybe the old ones are the best?

I’d be interested in hearing more about Hugh’s departure, but that’s not going to happen.

I'd like the interviewer to ask them about recent and future stuff, and not go with the more usual "so, it must have been really intense back in 1977, any stories from then?". And maybe steer clear of "so Baz, do you still feel like the new boy?". I'd really like them to play all of the "This Song" video, have an interesting talk about stuff I haven't heard about, then have JJ and Baz do an acoustic version of something new, not "Golden Brown", live in the studio. Fingers crossed!

I've noticed in a few written interviews now, the MkII and MkIII years are completely bypassed - Hugh left and then came Baz....

Oh well, short and sweet. Mainly about Dave, Baz a bit more involved than last time. "You can come back tomorrow if you like" says Dan.

Actually a good interview- understandably a lot of chat about Dave.
