Conveniently forgetting about MKIII, there. Which at least had Jet and Dave as well as JJ, and a frontman that could sing.
Seconded.
I really wish MKIII had continued for longer.

Intresting ....i only wished it had been MK1V post hugh right the way through...but that's just my opinion on not conveniently leaving out MK111 at all, as for me MK1V has clearly been the best MK post hugh and out of choice i would of continued on with a four piece band like it is now from 1990 right the way through....

If Baz had joined The Stranglers in 1991, he would have gotten shit for not being Hugh Cornwell just as PR did. The band had far more to lose in 1990 than they did in 2000 when Baz actually joined.

Well you are right there i cannot disagree there at all and yes your right he would of done more back then as they had more to lose back then, so all any vocalist can do is be themself in this band post hugh, which is what both have done i think, your post is 100% correct stan i think.

I think this is my favourite track on the album. Love the intro, bass sound, keys and soaring chorus. It's pure Stranglers heaven!

Yes that's the one track along with Moon from the gigs a few years back that i thought did stand out from the others and the more i play it from this album the better it sounds. This song really hits you full blast after the guitar opener, this is one typical stranglers sounding song....Good stuff!

Yes this is a proper Stranglers opening song, so I can't see what not to like if you like the stranglers.

Men on the Moon sounds to me like a classic Stranglers mid album track, and I really can't see why any fan wouldn't like it.

In that sense then these are the 2 standout tracks on the album.

Surely the Stranglers have always been a PRUNK band (well at least since Raven)? NB: prog/punk
