No, if there is any reason, it's basically like Jim said. You can still see bits of code on the site itself, which implies that someone was farting on with it and hasn't got around to fixing it properly.

Maybe the Official site feels that a link to a forum that is run by people who don’t support the current band is a little too counter intuitive even for the Stranglers

Okay Mathew, let's say you and dropsnoot are correct and the band are throwing their toys out of the pram because some people on the internet aren't thrilled with their new material - that would reflect a serious lack of confidence and deep insecurity on their part, no? Given the amount of bad reviews they've had over the years and the fact that not everything they've released has been well received by fans, they should be used to it by now.

I presume that it was on the Links page? That page does have a lot of visible errors but I can't see any trace to meninblack.co.uk remaining in it.

Good to see they offer links to former members anyway... none of that childish Pink Floyd nonsense.
