Very funny well someone did ask for my autograph once and of course I obliged, you have to give the public what they want, it was a fund raiser for a drummer who died of cancer in a local band to raise money for a headstone, I took over his role and we sold cds to raise money, so I signed his CD, it's the only time I have given an autograph and it will be the only time ever, although I was in a movie in 2008 Young Victoria, so if anyone wants me to sign their Cd I will joking, I bet you wished you hadn't of mentioned autographs now? That's very cutting, I care who is in the band, and when Dave passed I thought the band should end it, but I was in shock, I feel the band need our support now and I really admire them for finishing the album for the memory of Dave, you may really enjoy the new album? Really it's true, I replied no. And exited stage left. Lt Kudu.

I too thought that it should end after Dave, but respect their grit to finish what was first started with Dave and very glad they have done so as Dave is on 8 of the 11 tracks i think and yes the band needs all the support. For me on the live front it cannot be the same moving forwards, but i like most is really looking forward to hearing Dave's last contribution.Greatkudu wrote: ↑17 Aug 2021, 21:32That's very cutting, I care who is in the band, and when Dave passed I thought the band should end it, but I was in shock, I feel the band need our support now and I really admire them for finishing the album for the memory of Dave, you may really enjoy the new album? Re: If something's going to kill me...
It makes sense to me that 6music would play stuff like "No More Heroes" and "Always the Sun", but not play much - if anything - from any of the recent albums. The Stranglers are no longer a current band, even if they do have a reasonably sized cult following, so the newer stuff is out of the question. The older stuff is played because it is "vintage" and from their most successful/visible years.

That's not a patent, it's a registered business name. [/anorak]

Can someone explain what cancelling is? Apart from the word being used to actually cancel an appointment etc? Lt Kudu.
