No, you're thinking of the Roland Scrotalizer...or maybe the Moog Testickler 2000...theraven1979 wrote: ↑21 Jul 2021, 14:22 Is that the device you have to attach to your balls?

Re: White Stallion
Ok so the Damned songs. The intro sounds a little bit like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxAiukuKL34 and the "kissing in the rain" bit reminds me of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cb3uQSO7FYI&t=90s
Funny how throughout the years some Stranglers songs sound like The Damned and vice versa. I don't think it's intentional and I don't think either band pays too much attention musically to the other.

Sounds to me like Dave only did 'half' of the keys before the covid break and Louie finished off. Most interesting track so far though.

This looks like the one to watch indeed. I've been keen to hear more of the "full band" instead of the acoustic tracks so this has definitely piqued my interest
Re: White Stallion
It seems like Water, Somethings gonna Kill and White Stallion are the big album tracks so far.

Well, this is one of the songs that they didn't preview live, so I'm keen to hear the full thing before I form any sort of concrete opinion. There wasn't enough in the preview to get a sense of the song itself.Cells&Plasma wrote: ↑21 Jul 2021, 10:52 I think Stan will love or hate this??!! We await his dissection and thoughts.
I like big production, so I'm into the idea of 'em doing a big production number but this did feel to me to have somewhat of a "Finland's next entry in the Eurovision Song Contest" vibe about it, which I find utterly comical. I can just picture it now: sweaty Scandinavian goths with nipple rings and leather codpieces thrusting about with opera singers dressed in wedding dresses with shitloads of pyrotechnics and steel girders.

So this could be the Band's first Number 1 in Finland then??StanInBlack wrote:Well, this is one of the songs that they didn't preview live, so I'm keen to hear the full thing before I form any sort of concrete opinion. Re: White Stallion
Based off the preview it's more of a "number 2", I reckon. Although there's a small chance there might be a decent song in there to justify the bombast.Cells&Plasma wrote: ↑21 Jul 2021, 17:04 So this could be the Band's first Number 1 in Finland then??
Okay then, 3 songs to go...

I am not convinced by JJ's vocal....I prefer the Wasp to a Flame Whisper as Hugh puts it. Jim should have sung it!!??StanInBlack wrote:Based off the preview it's more of a "number 2", I reckon.
