T-shirts

Post by toneinstoke »

I've recently moved house, so I've been sorting my wardrobe out.

I have ......
3 stranglers sweat shirts
4 stranglers hoodies
44 stranglers T- shirts

Plus 1 purple helmets T-shirt
1 Hugh Cornwell T-shirt
1 pair stranglers pants

Not much space for anything else.

I hate to think how many Stranglers T shirts I have, must do a count, my Fave one is the French Tour T shirt from 2007,some one once asked to buy it for £100, they shall remain nameless to protect their id, but the Euro ones are pretty cool if the Stranglers could be called cool in any way? I have none

I have only 1 band T shirt

This is going to be an unpopular opinion, but I think band T shirts are for the kids.

Discuss..........(ducks)

Jim

I'll wear something that's subtle/artistic and not with the logo - I made myself a nice La Folie shirt two years ago..problem is it's now 3 sizes too small

Recently acquired a nice black logo t-shirt with a white collar.
Someone thought I was a vicar!
The logo was hidden under my jacket.

Just kids or fashion victims that have no idea who the band on their shirt actually is, let alone name a fave song or album

Diagree, unlike kids who wear Ramones shirts as fashion item, the people who wear a Stranglers T shirt are fans, and why the fuck shouldn't people wear them? I'm proud to wear mine, usual reaction is, are the Stranglers still going? Or is Hugh Cornwell still in the band? :smt013 but earlier I was in a blue Blazer, my retired officer garb.Lt un cool Kudu. :smt006

I'd like to consider myself a proper fan (both of the proper and not so proper Stranglers :-)

So a few years ago I went to a From The Jam gig, and wore one of my Stranglers t shirts.
Well I may as well have gone to Wembley wearing my Italy football shirt!

Worse still, the lead singer of the support band made fun of me with my t shirt on in front of the whole venue, how embarrassing!
She said something like "these people who wear band t shirts...."
Of course she was on the mic, and I didn't have the chance to explain what a proper Stranglers fan I really am :-(
What a bitch!
