Its a very nice touch from the band, just what i wanted them to do .I think the sleeve pic is perfect,as for the song well i havent heard all of it so i dont want to say its ok only because its a heartfelt tribute song to the great man himself by his friends which is wonderful in itself and i've only heard a snippet, but well done jj and co nice thought and touch.

the track is now on the Stranglers Official You Tube page. Sounds great through headphones. The production on the songs heard so far is excellent.

Lyrically nice in parts but questionable in others.
Yes, I thought that too.

I hope now that after hearing 'And If You Should See Dave' people have stopped complaining about JJ's recent French interview - they have written a beautiful and heartfelt tribute to Dave, and although I 😥 listening to it, it's a gorgeous song 💖👌

My son thought that "And If You See Dave" was part of that...

It just lacked a spark. Not sure that releasing it as single is going to bring much radio play
Agreed on the little i've heard so far, yes its a great tribute song to their friend but not so much a single release, its needs something with more of a catchy commercial chart feel to it and without hearing the full album to choose from its hard to say what would make a good single release or not,for me a nice album track to Dave but not as a single.

It's very ironic that you really miss Dave's keys on this track. :(

It's sweet - love the C&W vibe - had to swallow when the line "this is where your solo goes" came in

Dare I say it but there's a tinge of an Everly Brothers sound when Baz joins JJ for the chorus. Anyone else getting that? Kinda like a vintage feel to it.

Yeah I do...very 60s...introspective Pop. On first listen it didn't do anything for me but several listens in and I'm hooked.
