A thoughtful, wistful, well written song. JJ in reflective mood and singing from the heart.

It’s not going to set the chart alight but it shows there’s some life left in this band. Looking forward to hearing it properly as part of the album.

Assuming that’s Jim on live drums, he’s really taken a close look at the Jet Black style guide. Almost indistinguishable from Jet’s playing. Which may or may not be a good thing, depending on what you’re looking for from the Stranglers in 2021.

I thought "This song" would be a good one to get on the radio, but not really appropriate to use a cover as a mark of the first anniversary of Dave passing, really.

Nice one, definitely counts as "the single" then. Very little chance of charting on the main chart sadly because it would take us all to download and stream it but good luck to them anyway.

I thought it was a great song, very moving and a very touching tribute. Poignant.
