Due to all manner of circumstance the band is no longer able to continue. We would like to say thank you to everyone who has come to see us over the last six years and a special thanks to all the various web sites and their respective web monkeys for their views, reviews and support.
Please see the web site www.fourmoreheroes.com for a more detailed statement.

If I write it in a letter will you pass it on to Hugh? Maybe I can forge a doctor's note to add more clout to it?kinski wrote:You should have said that in August 1990 Jim. Quel bummer! Sad to hear you're giving up the weekend job but can understand the commitment must have been immense. I'm just glad you kept the early days feel alive, and was privileged to have seen you guys playing here in Scotland a dozen times or so. The best compliment I can give is that your gigs transported me back in time to the gigs I saw in 77, 78 and later, so a big thanks for all the effort you guys put into making it real. Four More Heroes ... probably the best tribute band in the World. Cheers til the reunion gig!

Shit!!!!
I was fuckin gutted when Jim rang me this morning with the news.
Come on Jon, reconsider, I was just getting used to all those fuckin knobs! If you pardon the expression! :;):
Give it a rest for a few months and then reconsider, once you've all missed it, you'll all want it back.
Best wishes

I hope he does reconsider - Got a txt from Nick which shed a bit more light on proceedings and it doesn`t sound like you`ve all fallen out or anything just things are becoming difficult (i.e Nick wants to leave, Mick is having problems getting time with his new job, shortage of drivers) - It`s just hard times - take six months off guys and re-asses.
