Tribute bands changing personnel - make much difference?

Post by Aural Scripture »

Just a general question as I haven't seen any tribute bands apart from what I've viewed on Youtube.

Does it make much difference to the overall acts when bands change personnel, since their sets consist of songs with which we're all familiar? I'd imagine these guys are all accomplished musicians, so when a member leaves a band, and his replacement takes over, is it just a matter of slotting neatly into place and carrying on like before?

Having caught the last incarnation of Four More Heroes and the 2 incarnations of Straighten Out( so far), I can only say that they are all a great bunch of genuinely talented musicians and well worth going to and supporting.

The social side is as good as MIB gigs as well, see you Saturday FBJ. Let's Fookin Ave It!.
