Don't just read about it Jim... get your arse to Preston and you could experience the pissed-up shenanigans for real. Drink enough and you won't care about the set list. Or actually remember the gig a la Ravenlunatic. Can't lose.

well done simon and paul
great reviews from saturdays gig a few memory joggers there, after what was quite a boozefuel filled night
managing to get the band packed up and sent on their way up north, i managed to stagger up the road on my way to the cartel for the night i called in to a certain food bar called the marathon kebab/chippy bringing back memories of a night at the roundhouse the grub always v good there as was evident by a packed shop and front pavement indeed there were alot more peeps there than some of the pubs i passed on the way
all in all a great night was had by all [ i had spoke to some guy in the bar who was a stranglers fan and came along with his missus and 4 other couples who didnt really know much about the strangs, but during the set i saw them all bopping away and enjoying themselves spoke to the same guy later, he thought that it was a great night mates enjoyed it to could not believe how good SO were]
next up holmfirth and preston c u all there , also hope to see you all and more down at redhill 5th sept for SO this being arranged by john and tania lets have a good turnout for it

keith

Thank you for your very kind words.

It’s great that many of us on here share the day’s experiences, whether it’s a Straighten Out gig, The Stranglers, Hugh Cornwell or indeed any other artist’s live performances. As we all accept, it’s not just the show but it is also recounting how good it is to catch up on the day, be it here or overseas.

I would, however, like to state for the record that to date, the best breakfast I have had so far was two of Icecube’s bacon butties on the 4240 Stranglers tour. Icecube is, without doubt, The King of the Baps.

Paul B to Mrs B - "did you get my text saying i was on my way home on the train?"
Mrs B to Paul B - " you are a real cunt! "
