Hi Everyone,

Not really one for chatrooms but felt I had to comment on the quality of the website. I have had great time looking through the various articles and photos that fans have contributed and uploaded.

Got into The Stranglers in the late 70's listening to singles at my mates house after school around the time of the release of Raven. Was always first in the record store on the new release dates and even now almost 30 years later the guy in the record store still reminds me of me begging for promo posters from the shop window. Sadly all these have been lost in time. Whe moving from home and getting married.

First gig was at Blackburn King Georges Hall on the Who Wants The World Tour. My dad had heard me talk about the strippers at the battersea gig and managed to talk the doorman into letting him in just in case!!!

Still watch the lads on every tour and feel as though you are a family member when talking with other fans at gigs.

Not too many opportunities to see strippers at Stranglers gigs, but did your dad ever go to any more gigs? :lol:
