Life after tribute bands. :)
Ey up, everyone. :) Just wanted to share a recording I've just uploaded which is a cover version of the Only Ones' "Another Girl, Another Planet". Recorded in my spare bedroom on a digital multitracker the size of a dinner place-mat, it features my 12-year-old son Frank on drums. h...

Re: THE FORUM MEMBERS COVERS ALBUM - A REVIEW!

Re: You wait for years, then two come along at once...
I kinda would've expected them to be forum members as well. Or at least one of them!!!   Why would you expect anyone of them to be a member of this forum :?: I'm sure that Stranglers fans & tribute fans can exist without this forum.....which indeed they do/have done so far...

Re: Straighten Out - The return of Casey
Good point Bubba - I remember once (once!) when I saw 4MH offering to do a bit of "roadying" and shifting a very small percentage of gear into a van. And passing a hat round after a gig for a few pounds for the band (they probably walked away with possibly enough for petrol). So yeah comp...

Re: Straighten Out - The return of Casey
Time for a gig in London. Yeah, the last two were packed out. :smt069 I wonder when the last time anyone here last drove two hundred miles in a knackered van, carted two tons of equipment down a tiny staircase, set it up, played a two hour gig to twelve people, took it all back UP the stairs...
