Re: 50th Anniversary Setlist?

No problem playing Genetix or any other song IMO. They play it very well, and of course it doesn't sound like Dave but it's not disrespectful to Dave in any way, if anything it's the opposite to that. So I don't see the issue. Even if you're at the gig and don't like it, well there's another 25+ so...

Re: Glasgow SEC ARMADILLO Stage Times

Gotta belated and quick review, so guess this is the place to stick it  A bit of context, after last years "Final" tour I reckoned that that was a suitable time for me to quit all this seeing The Stranglers live malarky, but, as luck would have it, my daughter got me a ticket for las...

It features heavily in the film Anatomy of a Fall, it's the tune someone plays on a loop
to piss everyone else off, but I'm digging it

Thanks for sharing this Eric, though I reckon either an old fan, or an AI bot, could have

So who's making the effort :?:
I will be making the effort, though reckon 2pm start is a bridge too far for me these days
Hopefully catch you at the gig mucka.

Over rated bollocks to these ears
Early stuff is good. Murmur and Reckoning are two solid albums imo
Tru'dat. The IRS stuff is the only stuff worth a listen, Reckoning still one of my faves.

Re: Hooky- Known Pleasures interview (JJ)

Nice one 8) Will listen are, Hooky said once everytime he meets him, JJ never recognises him   Edit: The time he mentions was the Kubix festival 2019. The bit I saw had Hooky saying he avoided meeting JJ for years (Never Meet Your Heroes etc) but when he finally did he was brand new. 8)
