Not Sure I Should Admit This...........
................but saw Leo Sayer last night, and he was really good. Forgot just how many great songs he had written, and at 67 his voice still olds up amazingly. No backing singers at all, just him and a four piece band (who also didn't add any vocals) for 2 hours of great entertainment. Superb bl...

Re: Stingray or Thunderbirds (original series)
Thunderbirds for me. Stingray was good, but didn't quite have IT in the way the Tracy's did. I am even (whisper it) a fan of the new Thunderbirds. I think it's clearly been made by people who grew up with the original series, and pays great homage to it whilst modernising nicely............. Philip

My work uniform is all black, apart from some ridiculously bright ties that I try and brighten it up with. Does that count???

Re: the damned and motorhead
I wonder if I can convince the missus that a night in Manchester seeing these two fine bands is the best option for her (big one this year) birthday......

Re: McBusted
I have to admit to liking McFly. Took the daughetr and thought it was a greatevening of power pop. The Busted thing is a let down though, she suggested going, so I just sent her a ticket link, I'm not up for that. I'll wairt fdor their next theatre tour and take her along to that one instead.

Re: 2012 Albums
Looking forward to the new Gaslight Anthem release, the single certainly sounds a bit rawer than the last album. Otherwise been buying the usual proggy-stuff I listen to...........

Ian McNabb
Last gig of the year tomorrow, as Ian McNabb performs the Head Like A Rock album in Liverpool. In need of a good blast of uplifting, loud, guitarry, shoutalong music, so getting my voice into whatever shape it can get into. Will be glaring at any late customers tomorrow to shift the buggers out so w...
