Re: Devo - But what???

I just saw Devo last night play the Freedom of Choice album. It's a great album (Gates of Steel, Planet Earth, Girl U Want). I also really like "New Traditionalists" album.

Re: The Fall & The Buzzcocks

I think the last new Fall album I bought was "Country on the Click". It didn't wow me. But "The Unutterable" was pretty good.

Hooverphonic

Hooverphonic's lead singer, Geike Arnaert has decided to leave the band and pursue a solo career. While she is hardly mentioned in the writing credits, losing your band's face and voice might be hard to replaced.

The remaining members are looking for a new singer.

Curious how this one turns out.

Re: WHAT THE FCUK ARE YOU LOT LISTENIN TO - When it's not the fu

I just got Hooverphonic's Singles 1996-2006.

1st cd has all the singles (hence the title of the cd, I guess)
2nd cd has the videos for the singles and an awesome concert.

Now, that is how you package a greatest hits.

I'm slowly working on getting the CD's for some on my favourite albums from my teenage years.
I just got the 3 first Ultravox albums on CD. For some strange reason, I only had the 1st and 3rd album on vinyl.

I recently listed to a greatest hits from the M Ure years, but it felt a little stale.
