Yeah I knew about the Lydon quote before the book, it's was on the radio wasnt it on that Stranglers radio doc with Glen Matlock. I was interested in what guys like Simonon, Jones & Lydon had to say now about JJ and the lads. Not seen owt as yet.

I have the book but have only flicked through it, just read parts of it so far. Not really seen any comments as yet from the Pistols, Clash, Buzzcocks, Jam etc about The Stranglers. lol, I think the story of Paul sitting on Jet's knee is a Hugh wind up! I think he said Paul was almost sitting on Jet...

Has anyone ever any heard any opinions of The Stranglers from the Sex Pistols, Clash, Jam, Damned, Buzzcocks etc? Wasn't there a Sex Pistols LP called 'Some Product'? I vaguely remember hearing it as a kid, I think it has Steve & Paul saying that they hated The Stranglers. I would be interesting...
