Very nicely put Al.

If I want to see art, I go to my children's local school in Finchley on a parents' evening and see displayed on the walls what the kids are up to. THAT, is what I call, "Expressionism".

Arthur, I agree with you. Serge - the man is a God !! It is brilliant music and singing. In a very similar vein, I strongly recommend an album called, "The Girl from Ipanema : Antonio Carlos Jobim Songbook". It is wonderful stuff which you can sit through and listen to for hours and before...

Good evening !

To quote from a Southener on an earlier thread and if it helps makes it easier for Jim, it does not matter where the location is as long as it is not Shitesville.

100 miles, 200 miles, 500 miles. Who cares ? Let's get on with it !

I guess Leeds makes more sense then? Jim Jim - Leeds has to be doable for The Southerners - by car or train, it's doable. Anyway, the air is cleaner. If it's ok for the band..... To The Southerners : a convoy in black with those really stupidly cheap walky talkies you can get these days, tra...

We can get the catering arranged and do it in the hall - Excellent beer, good parking and train station 3 minutes walk away Can you see...

A very interesting snippet on www.killingjoke.com

Then go to the "Music and Videos" section and listen to "The Death and Resurrection Show". Very good drumming from Mr. David Grohl.

One of the people at work just sent me this link :

www.pandora.com

It's quite clever but probably not as scientific as they would like to think they are. Try The Stranglers for starters.
