Re: Best MUSIC books read
Cheers Bear Cage. Didn't no it existed. Just ordered it. I wonder if it mentions the fight between Vom and Scabies on stage at the Town and Country 5 year anniversary Medics' gig. It was amusing with Lemmy splitting the 2 up. Who did you see live at Alice in Wonderland? Yeah the live album is good ...

Re: Best MUSIC books read
Good reads are: Lemmy by Mick Wall - because his life was a one off, never compromising and I rubbed shoulders with him at the old Marquee watching Dumpys Rusty Nuts. A Pretty Smart Way to Catch a Lobster (the Alice in Wonderland Years) by Christian Paris - because I used to frequent the night club ...

Re: No Hugs ...
Hide away in fear forever then Look, I want this whole pandemic to fuck off and for things to get back to normal just as much as anyone. The media has nothing to do with the existence of the virus or the handling of the crisis. Too right. Covid in my household at the moment. It's pretty rife, even ...

Re: Best Vocalist of the Punk Era, your Favourite.
I can't choose a favourite, but from that era (76-79):
JJ, Hugh, Ian Dury, Siouxsie, Vanian, Bon Scott, Ian Curtis, Jaz Coleman, Lemmy, Bob Calvert, Iggy.
What a great time for rock music....

Re: Vive Le Rock #88
Hugh refined the song "Golden Brown", but it was Dave that initiated the idea Yes, this is basically what I said, except the part I disagree with is that Hugh "refined" the song. He took a series of chord sequences, arranged them into the order we know and love today and then wr...

Re: White Stallion
I think Paul was really out of his comfort zone with Norfolk Coast. I'd like to see him singing "On Paper" though- with Dark Matters, one of the best releases of 2021. Thanks Parasite for being brill.

Re: White Stallion
The more I think about it, the more I would be curious of a Paul-led version of Stallion. I think his vocal style would suit well to the grand theatrics of it I think if PR hadn't left the band, not only would Giants have been much stronger than it was but they probably would have put out more musi...

Re: New keyboard player
Never seen them, always wanted to. I did see Love and Rockets in the 80s though, very good live.
