I see they are re-releasing their first album in a deluxe package for its 40th anniversary.

I know their image makes some people take them less than seriously , but there are some solid tunes on those first two albums.

They stole their guitar sound off Siouxsie and the Banshees.
Before that they were quite a dull, average outfit.

Not a bad band but clearly inferior to the best 80s alternative bands. (Bunnymen, Smiths, New Order, Chameleons for my money)

Anything had 3 of their best ever songs IMHO. Obviously as Captain isn't on it they never do anything from it live.

I've not heard anything they've done since apart from Evil Spirits which I thought was mediocre.
