I haven't unboxed my copy yet. If it's more of the same from JJ though, it doesn't sound like I'm missing much.

Paul Roberts, John Ellis and Baz Warne are in the Stranglers because that's all they can or could do Ellis was also rather successful in The Vibrators and as a member of Peter Gabriel and Peter Hammill's bands. Paul is trying to make a living being solo and from what i can see there is nothing happ...

Saw them in Edinburgh last Sunday, loved it!

It's not just his singing, i dont think baz has any experimental instincts. He seems to be able to mimic a strangler sound in a track, but not come up with left field ideas of his own. Its all soft rock. He's what the stranglers need for good performances and fun time on tour, but not for a mind bl...

Still gets the odd spin from me, by far my favourite album since NC.

RIP. Not been a good week for bass players, with Andy Rourke and John Giblin passing too.

Something similar to what they did for the Ruby tour would be good. Not holding my breath though.
