Unless they intend to make videos of every album track, I'd rather they push the other ones that involves the entire band + Dave. This feels like album interlude at best.

I believe they do. There's quite a number of older artists doing well with their later albums in the last few years. The Specials hit no.1 on the first week with their latest album for example which I assume might be due to pre-orders

I think these days the sort of music that gets talked about by the general public are the ones that go viral on the internet or get pushed relentlessly by major corporations. Very interesting. I did wonder how some older bands e.g. Sparks and The Specials could get so high on the album charts lately, albeit briefly. I suppose we only got one chance at this with The Stranglers, why the hell not?

This song just came up on my playlist lately and I'm still wondering why people claim it to be the first attempt by a rock band to do rap when Hugh's vocals were far more rap-like in the 70s?

It's still a good funky/disco number but The Stranglers were more "rap" in 1977

Mostly from algorithms (Spotify + last.fm etc) and a couple of Facebook friends nowadays
