Re: Buzzcocks @ Manchester 25th May 2012

Just been listening to this from Dime, Shelley deciding to play 'I Can't Control Myself' whilst the rest are playing 'Friends of Mine', twice, hilarious. The original bands (Set 2 & 3) were tighter in London, Manchester musy have blown off the rust. It's still well worth downloading and having ...

Re: CAPELLO RESIGNS

Just been watching Gareth Southgate banging on about how Honest Harry should be given the job because of his record. Yeah, right. I've got a pile of records here (plus a few CDs) perhaps I should be given a crack at it? :? After all I must have won just as much as old Harry has: Bournemouth Football...

Wonder who will pay the bills when you go bust? That pillock Salmond seems to think that the English and we Welsh will. If he wants independence then he can pay his own fucken way.

Re: Mozzer & Dagenham Dave

I liked the review Melody Maker gave a Don Johnson (yup, him off of Miami Vice) single called "Tell It Like It Is". Short and to the point, the review said "OK Don, your records shit". One of my favourites was the NME's review of George Michael's Listen Without Prejudice - throu...

Re: Mozzer & Dagenham Dave

NME gave a negative review, saying that this single showed that "Morrissey has become the embarrassing incontinent grandfather of Britpop". The song was described as "piss-poor old crap" and a "tune-impaired three-minute drone". F*ck me, at last the NME and me agree on...

Re: buzzcocks with howard devoto

I'm booked for Brixton. :) With regards to comments on 'reunions' I think it should be pointed out that, apart from the period of split due to 'bankruptcy' between '82 and '88', Steve Diggle and Pete Shelley have been performing as Buzzcocks since 1976. And I've never seen them do a bad gig no matt...
