Re: "The Clash" became what they wanted to replace?
Cheers for clarifying. There is a new flick out, apparently a biopic. Sorry but I can't be arsed searching for it :P Think it's called London - about a young fan being introduced to Punk and specifically The Clash Yeah it must be that one thanks, different cover image though (this one looks pretty ...

Re: Garry Coward-williams
Perhaps he could collaborate with Mr Bobinblack? Thanks for the suggestion, mate. I think me and GCW are fwends on Facebook but I've steered away from contacting him about books as he's officially one of the pukka establishment-in-black, he wouldn't need or want my help and i don't like people thin...

Re: "The Clash" became what they wanted to replace?
Never seen Rude Boy , likewise also forgotten about it . One film from The Clash I did see- Straight to Hell .....quite possibly the worst and most stupid film I've ever seen that doesn't have Jim Carrey in it . Well - when I said I saw it , I watched about 30 mins and turned off it was so bad - th...

blimey, I'd forgotten about it it's that long since I saw it, good call Nick.nickinblack wrote:Rude Boy was a good film wasn't it ? Haven't seen it since back in the day.Must look out for it again sometime.
Quite enjoyed that Madness one as well, like a re-enactment of their beginnings with some bad acting in it.

Re: "The Clash" became what they wanted to replace?
I was always in to bands' singles rather than albums so it's probably years after they came out that I even heard a full Clash album. 'London Calling' album's my favourite of theirs but it's not a good example of the Clash's roots etc, it's something like 'pop punk' and I only use the word punk ther...

Okay then, seeing as no one else is rude enough to ask him - Pidge, how the fuckity fuck can you spell Regis like that?

Re: Interview with Ruts DC
Thanks Adrian. When is someone going to do a proper interview with Leigh Heggarty? I know Adrian linked to his blog some years ago but it's time he got to talk about all the stuff he's been doing since the 1980's. I mean he's been working with Segs and Dave since 2007 and he's still treated like 't...

Admin - 'View Active Topics'
Jim, is there any way that all forum active topics can be viewed on one page? I completely missed the Hugh/JCC info about their appearance on 6 Radio earlier this afty. Thick as chuff I may well be but I assumed that if there was any news on any forum it would appear on my bookmarked page 'View Acti...
