Re: AC/DC

Re: Extra Powers for England and Wales, Anyone care?

The only new powers that I care about are.. The 'Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP)', which gives 'International Big Business' the power to overrule and sue a democratically elected Government and us, the tax payer, if they don't like any decisions or laws that the Government mak...

Re: Extra Powers for England and Wales, Anyone care?

I read somewhere during the Indy debate that in order to refurbish/modify London by 2050, they'd need to spend the equivalent of what the London Olympics cost, every 3 months for 35 years.

Re: scotland .anyone care?

What if there was a Scottish PM? The entire UK setup is broken, its fundamentally unworkable. Why don't we a bank of Britain ? S...

Re: scotland .anyone care?

No, keep it open. It'll be interesting to revisit it from time to time when Brown's vacuous promises aren't delivered upon. This is key. If these are not implemented due to Cameron's determination to have Scottish MP's not vote on English matters and Labour not accept Camerons proposal then the dev...

Extra Powers for England and Wales, Anyone care?

As a reposte to the Scotland, anyone care? thread, can you see Westminster letting power out to the provinces? I know Boris is looking for London to be an autonomous fiscal zone(takes in all the UK money and keeps it), but is the latest idea just that dressed up as giving the rest 'something' instead?
