If you don't like Zeppelin then you must be a Twunt. To be considered a "twunt" by yourself for this very reason is possibly the best Xmas present many of us on here could wish for - a badge of honour that those of us who fall into this category will be proud to wear alongside our love of...

Age : 30yrs Album breakdown : Led Zep: 0 Stranglers: 30+ Hugh: 1 Connection : Fuck all. So we've established that not all "youngsters" who own any Hugh albums necessarily own any by Led Zep! I may have started something rather fatuous and statistically pointless but WTF, it's nearly...

I grew up listening to punk and not heavy rock.I would have thought more heavy rock fans would follow The Stranglers rather than Hugh Fendale. :? It's not a criticism in any way, just a possible observation based on a very quick 5 minute flick through the posts on the subject. It'll be interesting ...

I got taken along with my older sister to see Steeleye Span at the ABC in Peterborough (now some crappy looking bar next to the Tesco on Broadway in the city centre, possibly only of value to OG this piece of info!!*) in 1975 - it was some kind of "birthday treat" (for her, obviously!!) an...

I must say I'm surprised there aren't more Led Zep fans on here or even the odd post more stating "aye they were good!" etc. This may be the 'punkforums' rather than a 'classic rock' board but I would certainly say Zeppelin's work is as clever and possibly as exciting/dynamic as anything ...

Is it just me on here or does nobody else remember why bands like The Stranglers grabbed our attention and got us so excited all those years ago? It was because of pompous tosh like Led Zep and their Earl's Court approach. Fcuk me, there'll be people on here saying how wonderful the likes of Yes and...

Oooh, you lucky thing! Mind you, I'd have preferred Fay herself, it was the enormous ear-rings and cutesy Scotish accent (although not as knee-trembling as Claire Grogan's!! :smt007 :smt049 :smt060 )
