Last book I read was Berlin Soldier. The memoirs of a 17yrs old boy called up in the last weeks of the war....... Currently reading Ska'd for life by Horace Panter..........a personal journey with The Specials.......quite a good read so far. Takes you back to your own youth....a long, long time ago!...

OK, so if I want to bring my wife and kids up, what else is there to see and do? I like museums, art galleries, good food, good beer - Real ales etc etc etc - Theatres - Also a good venue for live music. I don't really go to pubs anymore, unless they sell cracking real ale, I tend to go to beer fes...

OK, I may have been a little harsh about Glasgow. I'll explain what happened. When I was training to be an Operating Department Assistant (NHS) we went on a course to Glasgow. Mine would be ska stuff with the likes of Specials and Selecter.........but more recently Faithless and a Norwegian duo called Royksopp.......
